Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff RF Layout Designer to lead physical implementation of high-performance RF/analog devices, test structures, and PDK enablement. The role requires hands-on CMOS layout expertise, scripting, and collaboration across device/process teams to ensure optimal yield and reliability.

You will lead small teams, deliver qualified test chips on time, and drive new technology ramp across sites.

Qualifications

• BS + 8-10 years of experience, or MS + 7+ years, or PhD + 5+ years.
• Experience in RF/Analog layout; familiar with foundry design rules.
• Ability to lead small teams and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver qualification test chips on time.
• Coordinate with multiple teams and drive the project in timely, cost-sensitive fashion.
• Train junior engineers and strive to improve workflow quality.
• Lead medium-size projects and small team when required.
