Job summary

Entrust Corporation in Minnesota is seeking a Sr. Rewind Operator to set up, run, clean and maintain rewind equipment on-site. The 2nd shift is 4x10 hours, Monday–Thursday 2:30pm to 1:00am, with responsibilities including tabletop rewind, desktop rewind and Label Applicator setup and maintenance.

You’ll mentor newer operators, support new product development, and uphold ISO 9001 quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years’ experience on rewind equipment in a flexographic or digital print environment.
• Experience with substrates including paper, film and poly.
• Experience using digital instruments and measuring devices to collect data.
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs; communicate in basic English; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Verify job processes and specs before production run.
• Maintain quality by checking registration, debris and overall quality.
• Use digital instruments to collect and record SPC data.
• Troubleshoot machine issues such as tension, pressure, and web-breaks.
• Mentor less experienced Rewind Operators.
• Support new product development efforts.
• Ensure a clean, healthy, and safe work environment.
• Perform basic math related to rewind operations.
• Perform other duties and participate in special projects.
