Job summary

AWT in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a rewind operator to safely and efficiently run rewind equipment, verify parts meet specs and maintain accurate paperwork. The role requires following SOPs, supporting department processes, and collaborating with a team on the night shift (Weds, Thurs, Fri) with hours from 4:20pm to 4:40am.

Qualifications

• Experience operating rewind equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand specifications.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork.
• Able to read, understand, write and speak English sufficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate rewind equipment safely and efficiently.
• Verify parts meet specs and job requirements.
• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork.
• Gather materials needed for jobs in order of ship date.
• Set correct tensions and repeats; ensure correct accessories are used.
• Inspect finished product for conformance and remove nonconforming items.
• Complete rewind checklist and core label paperwork accurately.
• Stack finished product neatly for next operation.
• Follow SOPs (ISO) and support process management.
• Monitor workload and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
