Job summary

Entrust is seeking a Sr Rewind Operator for the 2nd shift to set up, run, clean, and maintain rewind equipment on-site. The role covers table top rewind, desktop rewind, and Label Applicator tasks, with potential support for Package Assembler duties.

The position requires 4+ years of rewind experience in a flexographic or digital print setting, with ability to handle diverse substrates and measure with calipers, rulers, and gauges.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years’ experience on rewind equipment in a flexographic or digital print environment.
• Experience with substrates including paper, film and poly.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to communicate in basic English; read, write and understand.

Responsibilities

• Verify job processes against specs before production run.
• Maintain quality by checking registration, debris, and overall quality.
• Use digital instruments and measuring devices to collect SPC data.
• Troubleshoot machine issues such as tension, pressure, settings and web-breaks.
• Mentor less experienced rewind operators.
• Support new product development efforts.
• Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe work environment.
• Perform basic math for rewind operations.
