Job summary

Entrust is seeking a Sr. Rewind Operator to oversee setup, run, cleaning, and maintenance of rewind equipment on site. Shift is 2:30pm–1:00am, Monday–Thursday, with additional duties on table-top rewind and label applicator equipment.

You will verify jobs, maintain quality, collect SPC data, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior operators while supporting new product development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years’ experience on rewind equipment in flexographic or digital print.
• Experience with substrates (paper, film, poly).
• Experience using digital measuring devices to collect data.
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to stand continually with lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent bending.
• Must read/write/basic English and be able to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Verify work orders, ensure compatibility of processes, specs, samples and drawings before production.
• Maintain quality by checking registration, debris and overall quality.
• Use digital instruments to collect and record SPC data.
• Troubleshoot machine-related issues (tension, pressure, settings, web-breaks).
• Be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and organized.
• Mentor less experienced Rewind Operators.
• Support new product development efforts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform basic math related to rewind operations.
• May participate in special projects.

Position Overview:

The Sr. Rewind Operator will be primarily responsible for set‑up, run, cleaning, and general maintenance of rewind equipment on‑site 2nd shift is 4x10hrs - Monday thru Thursday 2:30pm to 1:00am. This position is also able to operate table top rewind, desktop rewind and Label Applicator equipment (set‑up, clean, and general maintenance) and, when needed assist with Package Assembler duties.

Responsibilities:

• Verify through work orders that job processes, spec sheets, samples, proofs and drawings are correct before production run
• Maintain quality standards by checking registration,for debris and overall quality
• Use digital instruments and measuring devices to collect and record continuous accurate SPC data
• Troubleshoot and solve machine related problems such as tension, pressure, settings and web-breaks
• Detail-oriented, deadline driven, self‑directed and organized individual
• Serve as a mentor for less experienced Rewind Operators
• Support new product development efforts
• Ensure a clean, healthy, and safe work environment
• Perform basic math functions as related to rewind operations
• Performs other duties and may participate in special projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4+ years’ experience working on rewind equipment in a flexographic or digital print environment
• Experience working with various substrates including paper, film and poly
• Experience using digital instruments and measuring devices to include rulers, comparators, calipers and gauges to collect and record data
• Mechanical aptitude with hands‑on skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to stand continually with frequent bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to communicate in basic English; read, write and understand
• Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience running AB Graphics Omega Rewinders working with films and poly
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills, including troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical
• issues

Compensation Range:

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $19.54-$28.66 per hour (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
