Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Sr. Revenue Cycle Analyst II to join the Revenue Cycle Analytics team in Springfield, MO. You will lead initiatives, analyze financial data, and drive process improvements across health-system revenue cycles.

The role requires a bachelor's in healthcare/business/finance or 10+ years in healthcare finance, with strong analytical, training, and stakeholder communication skills. Experience with MS Office and Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, finance or related field required; or 8+ years in healthcare finance.
• Preferred MS degree in CS, data analytics, MBA, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years healthcare/revenue cycle analyst experience or 7 years within CoxHealth Revenue Integrity.

The Sr. Revenue Cycle Analyst II serves as a team leader and holds additional responsibilities and decision-making authority related to facilitation of various ongoing projects, work groups and other duties such as creating work assignments, training and orientation planning, back up to manager, etc. The employee must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and trouble-shoot inefficiencies and issues, research and make recommendations for improvement, facilitate changes, and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.Education: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or Business Administration, Finance, or related field OR 8 years of experience in healthcare finance Preferred: M.S degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, MBA, MHA or related fieldExperience: Required: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a healthcare/revenue cycle analyst role or 7 years of experience within CoxHealth Revenue Integrity.Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively present and interact with all levels of the organization.
