CoxHealth is seeking a Revenue Cycle Education Coordinator at West Campus in Springfield, MO. You will coordinate with organizational leaders to drive education programs across the Revenue Cycle, including audits, curriculum development, and system training.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to deliver developmentally appropriate feedback in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience.
  • 2 years of formal training or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with leaders across the organization on Revenue Cycle education.
  • Conduct education audits and identify education needs.
  • Provide education trends and curricula development and maintenance.
  • Involve training of end-users across Revenue Cycle including computer system training and online modules.
  • Schedule classes, support credentialing, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Job Description

The Revenue Cycle Education Coordinator will be responsible for coordination with leaders throughout the organization, performing education audits, providing education trends, and identifying education needs. They will also be involved with training and education of end-users across the Revenue Cycle which includes computer system training and a broad variety of other general Revenue Cycle related content. The individual must work collaboratively on a team and share education duties such as classroom instruction and credentialing, quality reviews, needs assessments, contributing to curriculum development and maintenance, online education module development and maintenance, class scheduling and coordination, as well as special project assignments as needed. The individual will also be a part of process improvement initiatives, workgroups, systems testing and upgrade implementations.

Education
  • Required: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree in related field
Experience
  • Required: Minimum of 4 years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience and 2 years of formal training or leadership experience
Skills
  • Exhibit ability to think critically and apply analytical and reasoning skills in problem solving
  • Possess proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess a strong command in use of Microsoft Office
