Job summary

Optum is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support a group’s financial performance across the EPIC environment. You will analyze billing workflows, monitor denials, and implement process improvements with the Rev Ops team.

In this national remote role, you will collaborate with clinical and administrative staff, prepare monthly reports, and ensure data-driven decisions that enhance cash flow and patient outcomes. Strong Excel skills and EPIC experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in medical claims and 2+ years in medical billing.
• Experience with EPIC; intermediate Excel skills; ability to learn new systems.
• Full-time availability with flexible 8-hour shifts within EST business hours.

Responsibilities

• Manages expectations for financial performance of a group or practice.
• Analyzes revenue cycle elements and provides interpretation to clients/Rev Ops.
• Develops interventions and initiates actions to improve billing performance.
• Produces monthly statistical reports and supports data-driven decisions.
