Recology in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoices, payments, and month-end close across four entities. You will collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, and affiliates to ensure accurate cash postings and timely collections.

Responsibilities include reconciling bank statements, applying payments, handling refunds, and supporting annual audits. A background in accounting, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• Five years of related accounting, bookkeeping or collections experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates across multi business units including Customers, Customer Service, Operations, Corporate, Recology Affiliates and other Accounting staff.
• Performs month end close in the AR system and reconciles bank statements for four companies.
• Manages cash logs, ACH deposits, electronic deposits, Lockbox and credit card chargebacks.
• Payment application for cash, checks, electronic payments, and credits for various accounts.
• Supports annual audits and government reporting as necessary.
