VGS is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the revenue and order-to-cash side of monthly close. You’ll work with the Sr. Accounting Manager, Sales, RevOps, and Account Management to ensure accurate revenue recognition and close processes.

You’ll apply US GAAP and ASC 606, review contracts, set up revenue schedules, and assist with audits and system improvements. A strong SaaS background and Netsuite/Salesforce experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA or CPA track preferred.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience; SaaS/public accounting a plus.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge with ASC 606 revenue recognition experience required.
• 2–4 years with NetSuite or comparable ERP; Salesforce experience required.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; reconciliations, pivots, lookups.

Responsabilités

• Own the monthly revenue close: revenue recognition schedules, cost of revenue and gross profit review.
• Review contracts and maintain revenue and prepayment schedules; handle renewals and product changes.
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations; maintain close checklist and deadlines.
• Reconcile Salesforce orders to billing and revenue records monthly.
• Support AR/collections and assist with audits and system improvements.
