Virta Health is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join its remote-first finance team. You’ll own recurring revenue close activities, ensuring accurate journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations while applying ASC 606 and US GAAP policies.

The role focuses on data accuracy, process improvement, and collaboration with the Revenue team and cross-functional partners. You will work with NetSuite, Zuora, Looker, and Excel to support monthly reporting, audits, and estimates, contributing to Virta’s

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; 3+ years of relevant accounting experience; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• US GAAP knowledge including ASC 606; apply policies to recurring accounting activities
• Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and schedules with large data sets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; manage recurring processes and small-to-medium projects
• Proficient in Excel and ERP tools (NetSuite, Zuora, Looker); clear communicator & organized

• Prepare recurring revenue close activities: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, schedules, and documentation
• Apply revenue accounting policies to recurring transactions and estimates; escalate non-standard matters
• Maintain recurring revenue reporting; perform data quality checks and flag issues
• Assist with accounts receivable controls and reconciliations in NetSuite
• Support revenue calculations and documentation using established methodologies
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audits with schedules and documentation
• Identify improvements to processes for accuracy, timeliness, automation or control
• Communicate progress and collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners
