Job summary

VGS is seeking a Senior Accountant to own revenue and order-to-cash close, working with Sales, RevOps and Account Management to shape finance system usage. You will drive the monthly close, apply ASC 606, reconcile orders to billing, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires strong US GAAP knowledge, NetSuite and Salesforce experience, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA or on the CPA track preferred.
• 4-6 years accounting experience; SaaS or public accounting a plus.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, ASC 606 experience required.
• 2-4 years with NetSuite; Salesforce experience required; Campfire a plus.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; reconciliations, pivots, lookups.
• Excellent communication; able to work with Sales and RevOps.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close for revenue and cost of revenue, including schedules and journals.
• Manage Accounts Payable close and vendor reconciliations.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable collections and bad debt reserves.
• Prepare audit support and liaise with external auditors.
• Support system improvements and mentor junior staff.
• Handle ad hoc accounting projects as needed.
