Job summary

AlertMedia is seeking a Senior Technical Revenue Accountant to lead ASC 606 accounting, NetSuite ARM, and revenue close. This individual will partner with Deal Desk, RevOps, Legal, Billing Operations, and Finance to structure compliant, scalable revenue recognition for a high-growth SaaS business.

You will own the revenue close process, SSP methodologies, and revenue reporting, while collaborating with Sales before contracts are finalized. This role offers remote work across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 5+ years of revenue accounting experience in SaaS or subscription models.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience reviewing customer contracts and interpreting revenue implications.
• Experience owning monthly revenue close, deferred revenue, reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Own ASC 606 technical accounting for contracts, renewals, expansions, and terminations.
• Research complex accounting issues and prepare technical memoranda.
• Develop and maintain SSP methodologies.
• Partner with external auditors on revenue matters.
• Own monthly revenue close, ARM, and related schedules.
• Perform detailed MRR/ARR, deferred revenue analyses.
