Job summary

Very Good Security, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to own revenue and order-to-cash in the monthly close. You will collaborate with the Sr. Accounting Manager, Sales, RevOps and Account Management while shaping how our finance systems evolve.

You will bring 4–6 years of accounting experience, strong US GAAP/ASC 606 knowledge, and hands-on experience with NetSuite and Salesforce. This role supports a remote-friendly, hybrid schedule and offers robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA on track preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, with ASC 606 revenue recognition experience.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce; familiarity with Campfire or similar close/rev-rec tool.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets for reconciliations, pivots and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounts payable process and vendor communications.
• Manage the monthly revenue close: revenue recognition schedules and cost of revenue review.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations; maintain month-end close checklist.
• Reconcile Salesforce orders to billing and revenue records monthly.
• Support audits, controls, and process improvements; mentor junior staff.
