Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to own end-to-end revenue accounting and client invoicing in a remote-first setup based in the United States. You will manage accounts receivable, collections, and revenue recognition under ASC 606, ensuring accurate monthly close and forecasting with cross-functional partners.

The role requires 7+ years of accounting experience in SaaS, NetSuite proficiency, and a CPA or progress toward CPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; 2+ years in senior/lead role.
• SaaS industry experience; private equity exposure preferred.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end invoicing process and billing accuracy.
• Manage accounts receivable, aging reviews, collections, and dispute resolution.
• Monitor revenue cycle metrics (DSO, unbilled revenue, deferred revenue, billing accuracy).
• Apply ASC 606 to SaaS and multi-element contracts; coordinate with teams on revenue recognition.
• Prepare revenue recognition schedules and month-end entries; support forecasting and back-logs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance to coordinate contract setup and billing.
• Support acquisitions and standardize billing and revenue processes across org.
• Provide guidance to accounting team on billing, collections, and revenue recognition.
