Job summary

IDeaS is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting - Revenue and Billing to lead revenue recognition under ASC 606, manage billing and AR, and drive automation across processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure compliance and scalability as the company grows toward public readiness.

The role requires extensive experience in SaaS revenue, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to process improvement and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years in accounting with 5+ years in revenue recognition or billing for SaaS/software.
• 5+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue accounting operations compliant with ASC 606.
• Oversee end-to-end billing, invoicing accuracy, integrations, and disputes.
• Manage accounts receivable including credit, collections strategy, and aging reports.
• Drive automation and AI-enabled tools in revenue and billing workflows.
• Partner with Sales Ops, Legal, Product, and FP&A for contract compliance.
• Support the design of scalable billing/revenue processes for public-readiness.
