Job summary

IDeaS is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting - Revenue and Billing to lead revenue recognition under ASC 606 and manage end-to-end billing for a SaaS environment. You’ll drive automation, partner with cross-functional teams, and ensure audit readiness as the company scales toward public-readiness.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in accounting with 5+ years in revenue recognition or billing, plus strong GAAP knowledge and ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle). CPA preferred; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, 5+ years in revenue recognition or billing for SaaS/software.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Public company or IPO experience preferred.
• Strong ASC 606 and GAAP revenue recognition knowledge.
• Experience with billing platforms and ERP systems; proficiency noted.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue accounting operations with ASC 606 compliance.
• Oversee end-to-end billing operations including invoicing accuracy and system integration.
• Direct the accounts receivable function and aging reporting.
• Drive automation and AI adoption in revenue and billing workflows.
• Collaborate with Sales Ops, Legal, Product, and FP&A for contract compliance.
• Lead the design of scalable billing/revenue processes for public-readiness.
• Own audit readiness and support audits related to revenue and billing.
• Develop revenue and billing policies to strengthen controls and data integrity.
• Mentor team members and deliver regular billing/revenue analytics to leadership.
• Interface with IT on billing system improvements and integrations.
• Lead ASC 606 training and act as SME on revenue recognition.
