Job summary

Mammoth Mountain, part of Alterra, seeks a Senior Revenue Analyst to maximize revenue across resort products. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Management, you will analyze pricing, yield strategies, and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities, collaborating with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and IT in a data-driven environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
2+ years of analytics and/or Revenue Management experience.
Experience in travel or ski industry is preferred.
Strong understanding of Revenue/Yield Management concepts.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot, graphs, formulas, VBA).
Strong database analysis skills and ability to retrieve data from multiple systems.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, detail-oriented, proactive.

Responsibilities

Analyzes current and proposed pricing, yield management strategies and performance metrics to ensure revenue/ profitability targets are met.
Participates in weekly, monthly, and yearly pricing plans, base prices, and yield plans.
Develops and produces regular reports for Revenue Management, Finance, and Marketing.
Understanding database structures to retrieve data and validate across systems.
Uses BI tools and complex spreadsheets to analyze trends, opportunities and communicate recommendations.
Performs variance and sensitivity analyses and reviews booking trends.
