Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Senior Manager Revenue Accounting and Billing Operations to provide enterprise leadership for Corporate Billing. You will oversee a team of managers and supervisors, ensuring accurate, timely billing across national accounts, government contracts, and complex projects.

The role requires overseeing revenue recognition under ASC 606, monthly close, and collaboration with project managers to resolve billing issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Extensive experience in revenue recognition, billing, and project accounting.
• Leadership experience managing multiple managers and senior staff.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP applicable to billing.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead all revenue accounting and billing operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee monthly/annual close for revenue, contract assets/liabilities and unbilled revenue.
• Direct controls, compliance, and audit activities for revenue and billing.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and system integration in ERP.
