Inceed, L.L.C. is assisting in recruiting a Senior Revenue Accountant – Reporting & Analytics in Oklahoma City.

This role blends accounting expertise with reporting, analytics, and process improvements to support monthly revenue activity and strengthen reporting accuracy. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, with 3+ years in oil and gas accounting, and strong Excel skills to develop revenue dashboards and tools.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of oil and gas accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of revenue accounting and accrual methods.
• Experience with revenue reporting and data analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, SUMIF, and PivotTables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently.

Mansioni

• Analyze monthly oil and gas revenue data for accruals and re-accruals.
• Prepare journal entries for operated and non-operated properties.
• Reconcile revenue accruals to actuals and investigate variances.
• Support purchase price adjustment analysis.

Senior Revenue Accountant – Reporting & Analytics

Compensation: $85,000 – $105,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Revenue Accountant – Reporting & Analytics to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a revenue accounting professional who enjoys blending accounting expertise with reporting, analytics, and process improvement. In this role, you’ll support monthly revenue activity, help strengthen reporting accuracy, and contribute to technology-driven improvements across the function.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Analyze monthly oil and gas revenue data for accruals and re-accruals
• Prepare journal entries for operated and non-operated properties
• Reconcile revenue accruals to actuals and investigate variances
• Support purchase price adjustment analysis
• Develop and maintain revenue reporting tools and dashboards
• Use data analysis to identify trends and improve reporting accuracy
• Review agreements and contracts for revenue accounting support
• Collaborate with accounting and technical teams on data issues
• Support automation and AI-driven process improvements
• Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and month-end close activities

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of oil and gas accounting experience
• Strong understanding of revenue accounting and accrual methods
• Experience with revenue reporting and data analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, SUMIF, and PivotTables

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, or Power BI
• Exposure to Spotfire or similar reporting tools
• Experience automating reports or improving workflows
• Familiarity with AI-enabled process improvements
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Contract review experience related to revenue accounting
• Knowledge of SOX controls and financial reporting

Other Information

• Direct hire opportunity
• Onsite schedule in Oklahoma City
• Monday through Thursday are longer workdays
• Friday is a half-day schedule
• 20 work-from-home days available annually
• Interview process typically includes 2 to 3 onsite rounds
• Limited and infrequent overtime
