Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, graphs) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• SAP experience preferred; familiarity with Power BI or similar data tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Review and ensure the accuracy of revenue postings.
• Prepare, reconcile, and post complex revenue-related journal entries (accruals, reclasses, corrections).
• Analyze revenues, cost of sales, and margins by location.
• Investigate variances and historical trends (e.g., transit times, average costs).
• Apply U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies to revenue recognition and journal entry processing.
• Monitor and clear suspense accounts.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial statement variance reporting.
• Assist with quarterly reviews, annual audits, and SOX compliance as needed.
• Serve as subject matter expert for revenue matters, collaborating across departments.
• Execute assigned internal controls on time, including verifying report completeness and accuracy in line with external audit standards.
• Recommend and implement process and workflow improvements.
• Support internal control initiatives, policy development, and remediation of control deficiencies.
• Mentor and provide oversight to junior accounting staff.
• Take on ad hoc reporting and special projects as assigned.
