Job summary

Radiant Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to oversee revenue recognition, ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance and accurate reporting. The role involves complex postings, reconciliations, and monthly close activities, with high autonomy and cross-functional collaboration.

You will mentor staff, drive process improvements, and support audits and SOX compliance while maintaining strong internal controls in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• SAP experience preferred; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• SOX compliance and internal control processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure the accuracy of revenue postings
• Prepare, reconcile, and post complex revenue-related journal entries (accruals, reclasses, corrections)
• Analyze revenues, cost of sales, and margins by location
• Investigate variances and historical trends
• Apply U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies to revenue recognition
• Monitor and clear suspense accounts
• Support monthly and quarterly financial statement variance reporting
• Assist with quarterly reviews, annual audits, and SOX compliance as needed
• Serve as subject matter expert for revenue matters, collaborating across departments
• Execute assigned internal controls on time, including verifying report completeness and accuracy in line with external audit standards
• Recommend and implement process and workflow improvements
• Support internal control initiatives, policy development, and remediation of control deficiencies
• Mentor and provide oversight to junior accounting staff
• Take on ad hoc reporting and special projects as assigned
