Job summary

Empower Retirement is seeking a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to guide participants in employer-sponsored retirement plans. You will educate on managed accounts, build relationships, and drive personalized, proactive engagement to support long-term financial well‑being.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, 2+ years in financial services, and FINRA registrations. You will manage inquiries, meet sales/service goals, and use Salesforce and Empower's tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 2+ years in financial services, retirement planning, or advisory environments.
• FINRA registrations 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65) required and fingerprinting on hire.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver retirement planning guidance and education to participants in employer plans.
• Bind customers to informed decisions through proactive engagements and education.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
• Respond to plan and policy questions with clear, concise communication.
• Use tools to identify best distribution strategies for retirement accounts.
• Collaborate with peers to problem-solve and deliver results.
• Maintain knowledge of IRA and qualified plan products.
• Learn Empower's record keeping system and Salesforce.
