Job summary

Empower Careers is seeking a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to deliver retirement and financial wellness guidance to participants in employer-sponsored plans. You will guide decisions, educate on managed accounts, and deepen relationships through proactive engagements that support overall financial well‑being.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in financial services, proven sales success, and FINRA registrations (7 & 66 or 63 & 65).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years in financial services, retirement planning, or advisory roles.
• Demonstrated success in sales and client relationship development.
• Solid understanding of IRAs and retirement plan environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Proficient with Windows, MS Office and Salesforce, with fast learning curve for internal systems.
• FINRA 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65) registrations required, plus fingerprinting on hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver retirement and financial wellness guidance to participants.
• Educate on plan options, distributions, and account strategies.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
• Maintain strong client relationships and follow through on commitments.
