Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Senior Retirement Specialist to drive sales, educate plan participants and manage relationships within a defined territory. You will conduct seminars, collaborate with the Program Director, and lead initiatives related to retirement plans for public sector clients.

Ideal candidates have FINRA Series 6, life and health licenses (63/65 may be required), and at least three years in financial or educational services.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in related field, insurance, business, marketing preferred.
• FINRA Series 6 license and life and health licenses required; 63/65 may be necessary.
• Three years of related experience in financial, sales or educational services.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and conducts one‑on‑one and group seminars for participants within an assigned territory.
• Assists Program Director in territory planning, execution strategies and team development.
• Provides counseling on defined contribution plans to drive sales growth.
• Develops relationships with key contacts at department head level to expand services.
• Leads special projects related to marketing, enrollment and admin processes.
• Works with home office teams to solve customer issues and improve processes.
