Job summary

Swipejobs is seeking a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to deliver personalized retirement planning guidance and financial wellness education to participants in employer-sponsored plans. You will interact with customers, helping them navigate retirement decisions, understand options, and align strategies with their goals.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in financial services, and FINRA registrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, wealth management, or an advisory environment.
• Demonstrated success in a sales or consultative environment.
• Strong understanding of IRAs, retirement investment products/services, and qualified retirement plans.
• Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or Series 63 and 65) registrations required.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen customer relationships through personalized, consultative service.
• Respond to retirement plan, policy, and account-related questions with empathy, professionalism, and accuracy.
• Educate customers on retirement distribution, rollover, IRA, and plan-specific options.
• Help customers understand the potential advantages of remaining invested in an employer-sponsored retirement plan or utilizing an IRA versus taking retirement assets as cash, including applicable tax considerations.
• Guide participants toward solutions that support their retirement and financial wellness goals.
• Provide education and guidance designed to help retain retirement assets.
• Conduct both inbound and outbound customer interactions and proactively follow up on customer needs.
• Partner with colleagues across the organization to resolve issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Leverage technology, tools, and resources to identify appropriate retirement-planning strategies.
• Meet established monthly and annual sales and service objectives.
