Job summary

Fiber Broadband seeks a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to deliver retirement education and guidance to plan participants in employer-sponsored plans. You will guide participants through managed account solutions, build relationships through proactive outreach, and support financial well‑being in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a bachelors’ degree, 2+ years in financial services or advisory roles, and FINRA registrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, or advisory environments.
• Demonstrated success in sales.
• Good understanding of IRAs, retirement investment products/services and the qualified retirement plan environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Good working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to quickly learn Empower's record keeping system, Salesforce software.
• FINRA 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65) registrations required
• FINRA fingerprinting upon hire

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and respond to a variety of plan and policy-related questions.
• Relay accurate information and provide clear and concise communication of policies and procedures.
• Retain assets through education and guidance of available plan specific and general distribution options.
• Engage in a dialogue to educate customers in making informed distribution decisions and the advantages of participation in a company sponsored retirement plan or an individual retirement account.
• Deliver optimal solutions to customers in every interaction.
• Engage with peers to problem solve and deliver results.
• Use innovative tools and services to find the best options for retirement-planning needs.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
