Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Institutional Relationship Manager for the Eastern region, with travel up to 75% from a home office. You will manage mid-market retirement plans, collaborate with sponsors, advisors and operations teams, and drive profitability through Nationwide products and services.

You will build senior-level relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing plan participation.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in business or finance preferred.
• FINRA licenses required (6, 63, 65 or 7/66).
• 5 years in financial services with at least 3 years in retirement plans.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, qualified plan design and investments.

Responsibilities

• Establish, grow and retain profitable relationships with mid-market plan sponsors and advisor consultants.
• Lead the integrated service team to coordinate resources for key relationships.
• Conduct annual to quarterly committee meetings to discuss plan health and enhancements.
• Partner with Finance and Investment Management to increase profitability via Nationwide products.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans for your book of business.
