Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Retirement Plan Counselor in the San Francisco Bay Area to lead sales initiatives in the Retirement Plan Sales market and coordinate with Wealth Management Wholesalers to serve brokerage firm representatives.

You will leverage your proven sales experience in mutual funds and retirement plans, build long-term relationships, and deliver compelling presentations. A Series 7, 63, and 66 license (or equivalent) and related professional designations are required.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge and proven track record of sales success in mutual funds and retirement plan sales.
• Ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
• Leverage technology to create custom analysis.
• Excellent communicator with experience in the registered investment advisor space.
• Well-versed in synthesizing information and presenting it concisely.
• Must have Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses (or equivalent) with designations such as AIF/AIFA/PPC/CIMA/CFA.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales initiatives in the Retirement Plan Sales market.
• Coordinate with Wealth Management Wholesalers to manage Capital Client Group presence and drive results with brokerage firm representatives.
• Deliver motivational and informative presentations and set performance goals.
• Sell through financial intermediaries and collaborate with senior sales force members.
