Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking a Senior Retirement Plan Consultant to join our team in a hybrid remote capacity, with roughly 95% work from home and occasional on-site visits.

You will handle Defined Contribution plan administration and compliance while building strong client relationships across a nationwide client base. The role requires 3+ years of DC plan experience, proficiency with FT William software, and strong knowledge of nondiscrimination testing (ADP/ACP, 410(b), 414(s)).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (relevant experience may substitute).
• 3+ years of defined contribution plan administration experience.
• Proficiency with FT William Modular Admin/Compliance Software.
• Demonstrated skill in ADP/ACP, 410(b), 414(s), Top Heavy, and other nondiscrimination testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record in client relations.
• ASPPA, NIPA, or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Perform nondiscrimination testing (ADP/ACP, 410(b), 414(s), and more) for a caseload of 80-100 qualified plans
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value
• Manage all aspects of DC plan administration — from data collection and testing through valuation and Form 5500/5500-SF and SAR preparation
• Maintain a thorough understanding of plan documents and their provisions
• Stay current on legislative and regulatory developments affecting DC plans
• Collaborate closely with supervisors and colleagues, supporting team workflow
• Use Teamwork and FT William Modular Admin/Compliance software to manage day-to-day work, along with other tools as needed
