Job summary

Ascensus in the United States is seeking an experienced professional to perform compliance testing and review for highly complex retirement plan clients. You will ensure the plans remain tax-qualified by meeting IRS/DOL requirements, review government forms, and support testing on accounting activity.

Expect opportunities to provide technical training and contribute to process improvements. The role requires in-depth knowledge of ERISA, cross testing, and 401(a)(4).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of progressive plan experience in third party administration.
• Expertise in controlled groups, cross testing, catch-up contributions.
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of ERISA tax codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tests such as non-discrimination and top heavy tests.
• Review 401(a)(4) and other complex compliance filings.
• Assist with planning data and participant eligibility reviews.
• Coordinate year-end processing with Relationship Managers.
• Lead process improvement projects and training on new processes.
