Newport, an Ascensus company, is seeking an experienced Retirement Plan Compliance Specialist to join our team in Florida. You will prepare and review complex compliance tests, analyze plan documents, and coordinate year-end processing with client teams, ensuring IRS and DOL requirements are met.

The role demands advanced knowledge of ERISA, 401(a)(4), and related tax laws, plus strong Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple high-profile plans with accuracy and urgency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field with 6+ years in third-party plan administration.
• Advanced knowledge of retirement plan tax law (ERISA) including Revenue Code sections.
• Advanced Excel skills

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and reviews non-discrimination tests, top heavy tests, coverage tests, 415 annual addition tests for complex plans.
• Reviews plan documents and participant eligibility; coordinates year-end processing with Relationship Managers/Client Service Managers.
• Assist in training of new processes and contribute to process improvements.
• Responds to questions from managers, clients, and internal customers.
• Maintains focus and accuracy under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
