Job summary

Collective Advisors, an Austin-based retirement and wealth advisory firm, seeks a Retirement Plan Advisor to retain, lead, and grow its employer-sponsored program. You will work with an experienced advisor, deepen sponsor relationships, and assume increasing leadership as you build continuity and outcomes for clients.

The role requires substantial retirement plan experience, including primary responsibility for multiple plans, with relocation to the Austin area and potential relocation support.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in retirement plan consulting or related advisory roles.
• Experience as primary or co-primary advisor for multiple employer-sponsored plans.
• Knowledge of ERISA fiduciary responsibilities and plan governance.
• Strong client relationship, presentation, and project-management skills.
• Current investment adviser registration or ability to obtain promptly after hire.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with plan sponsors, committees, owners, participants, and key decision-makers.
• Lead transition of established plan relationships and assume primary responsibility as readiness allows.
• Conduct quarterly/annual plan reviews, fiduciary education, investment monitoring, and fee analysis.
• Recommend plan-design improvements to support employer objectives and participant outcomes.
• Coordinate with recordkeepers, TPAs, actuaries, custodians, etc., and document commitments in the CRM.
• Deliver enrollment meetings, retirement education, and one-on-one consultations.
• Coordinate with wealth advisors for broader financial planning needs.
• Develop new retirement plan opportunities through referrals and networking.
