Job summary

Chick-fil-A, Inc. seeks a senior retirement benefits compliance leader to guide ERISA-aligned programs and ensure ongoing regulatory adherence for 401(k) and pension plans.

You will act as technical expert and advisor to cross-functional teams, translating complex requirements into actionable business strategies. Lead annual audits, Form 5500 reporting, and vendor oversight while partnering with Legal and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Leads and executes enterprise retirement plan compliance initiatives, including Form 5500 reporting, plan amendments/restatements, PBGC premium filing and disclosures.
• Leverages financial acumen to prepare financial statements for qualified plans in partnership with Retirement Benefits Team and auditors.
• Directs annual audits for qualified plans and coordinates support for audit materials.
• Directs testing program with vendors to ensure compliance and support growth, including modeling tool development.
• Provides guidance to ensure plans are administered per plan documents and regulatory requirements.
• Advises senior leaders on compliance impacts related to workforce growth and new benefit structures.
• Maintains compliance documentation and communications, inventories, and records.
• Collaborates with Talent, Total Rewards, IT, Payroll, and Legal to address issues.
• Escalates legal issues with Legal–Benefits team translating risks into actionable guidance.
