Job summary

Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center is seeking a Senior Principal Team Leader, Domestic Payroll to lead payroll operations and compliance for the US. You will oversee a cross-functional team including Wage & Hour, Payroll Tax Compliance, and Payroll Processing, driving accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory adherence across the enterprise.

You will partner with HR, Legal, Total Rewards and finance to implement process improvements, mitigate risk, and advise on enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll and regulatory compliance teams.
• Oversight of third-party managed service providers.
• Deep knowledge of federal, state, local payroll laws.
• Strong HRIS/Payroll system configuration skills.
• Excellent communication with leadership.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex payroll issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead domestic payroll operations and governance.
• Oversee payroll tax compliance and wage hour compliance.
• Partner with HR, Legal, and Total Rewards on policy design.
• Guide continuous process improvement and risk mitigation.
• Act as escalation point for sensitive payroll inquiries.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to optimize workflows.
