Job summary

The Retirement Benefits Analyst at Jefferson Health Plans serves as the subject matter expert for the organization’s Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution retirement programs. You will provide escalation support to colleagues, managers, and HR business partners while maintaining essential administrative functions across all retirement plans.

You will apply analytical problem-solving to execute and support retirement benefits programs, deliver exceptional customer service to stakeholders,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 2 years in Benefits Administration
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail
• Experience working with an Enterprise Human Capital Management System
• Skilled in process management
• Ability to listen actively, communicate clearly and empathetically, take responsibility, adapt, and exercise self-control under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a subject matter expert and point of contact for escalated retirement benefits inquiries; provides exceptional service; resolves issues; guides enrollment and plan changes; responds via phone, email, and in-person meetings; ensures resolution and data integrity.
• Maintains timely and accurate processing of retirement benefits transactions; keeps records; coordinates with vendors for compliant processing and reconciliations; supports enrollment communications and meetings; reconciles invoices.
• Supports implementation of new retirement benefits programs; maintains ongoing operations through monitoring and issue resolution; collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Analyzes data to provide evidence-based process improvements within retirement benefits; researches issues to identify root causes and develops resolutions.
• Leverages knowledge to enhance program effectiveness; documents processes and best practices for continuity and consistency; contributes to knowledge sharing.
• Identifies opportunities for improvements; adopts technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
