Job summary
Nova 401(k) Associates is seeking a fully remote experienced Business Systems Analyst (Product Manager) with deep retirement plan services expertise to join our Automation Department. This role bridges business stakeholders and developers to deliver automation that improves retirement plan services.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in the retirement industry and can translate domain knowledge into clear requirements, robust testing, and scalable automation while collaborating across plan
Qualifications
- 10+ years of 401(k) plan administration experience.
- 3+ years as a business analyst, preferably supporting automation or software development.
- Strong knowledge of ERISA requirements and recordkeeping operations.
- Experience with BPMN and business process analysis.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Directors to gather, document, and prioritize automation requirements.
- Translate retirement industry needs into detailed specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Serve as primary point of contact for developers to clarify requirements.
- Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows to identify automation.
- Assist in prioritizing automation backlog based on impact and ROI.
- Monitor deployed automations post-launch and gather feedback.
- Support change management with training materials and communications.
