Job summary

Vego Garden is seeking a Senior Retention Marketing Manager to lead existing customer growth and increase customer lifetime value. You will own the retention strategy across the customer lifecycle, turning first-time buyers into repeat customers and driving engagement, category adoption, and reactivation of lapsed customers.

The role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, accountable for repeat purchases, existing revenue, and long-term value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in retention, lifecycle, CRM, or customer marketing.
• Proven track record of improving repeat purchase behavior, existing customer revenue, or CLV.
• Hands-on experience with email and SMS platforms like Klaviyo.
• Strong analytical skills using cohort analysis and customer data to prioritize growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead retention strategy and existing customer growth across the lifecycle.
• Own lifecycle marketing channels (email, SMS, journeys) and automated campaigns.
• Build segmented, personalized experiences based on purchase history and engagement.
• Manage retention calendar and ensure deliverability, consent and frequency standards.
• Collaborate with Growth Director and cross-functional teams to align retention with business goals.
