Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials is seeking a Retail Territory Manager to lead a group of Lakeshore stores and to coach Store Managers to uphold brand and operating standards while delivering territory sales goals.

You will spend significant time in stores, developing leaders, solving problems, and ensuring a great experience for teachers, parents and children. This is a hands-on multi-unit leadership role requiring travel and strong coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of multi-unit retail management experience.
• Proven ability to lead managers and develop talent.
• Strong business sense with ability to read store reporting and drive execution.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% weekly.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop and retain Store Managers and future leaders.
• Set clear expectations for store leaders and manage performance.
• Lead planned store visits with agenda, follow-up and closure.
• Hold stores to Lakeshore’s brand and operating standards.
• Launch and sustain sales programs and institutional outreach.
• Plan labor and payroll around promotions and peak periods.
• Own the guest experience across the territory and coach teams.
