Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials stores are seeking a dedicated Store Manager to lead a dynamic sales team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will recruit, coach, and motivate staff while ensuring strong product knowledge and operational discipline across a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include implementing sales plans, managing inventory and cash processes, and promoting Lakeshore’s learning products to teachers, parents and students.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related retail management experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of retail POS systems.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and develop the sales team.
• Train and develop new sales associates.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to the team.
• Drive workplace engagement and motivation within the store.
• Surpass customer service expectations and uphold service protocols.
• Gather and act on customer feedback regarding products and school/home use.
• Build lasting relationships with customers.
• Train staff on new products and promotions.
• Maintain store presentation standards, policies, and safety.
