Position Overview

The Senior Retail Store Manager ("SRSM") is responsible for the overall sales and operations of their assigned locations. Successful SRSMs will lead their team, drive performance, and manage sales achievement, customer service, operational standards, and inventory. The role requires strong leadership skills to develop, implement, and manage team and company programs and processes.

Role Responsibilities

1. Execute sales, service, and customer experience initiatives in-store.
2. Lead, coach, and motivate the team to succeed.
3. Create an environment where employees can excel.
4. Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
5. Educate staff on compensation plans and sales maximization.
6. Partner with management to launch new products, services, or processes.
7. Ensure staff are trained on new offerings.
8. Assist in internal investigations with HR and Loss Prevention departments.
9. Support sales floor coaching and development.
10. Schedule staff according to budgeted hours.
11. Maintain a clean, inviting store environment.
12. Adhere to compliance, processes, and policies.
13. Respond promptly to communications.
14. Complete required training timely.
15. Protect company assets.

Job Requirements

1. At least 2 years of retail sales management experience, including sales processes and commissions.
2. At least 2 years recruiting, hiring, and developing sales teams.
3. Strong sales skills with a record of exceeding performance standards.
4. Ability to motivate and lead others.
5. Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
6. Proficiency with computers and wireless equipment.
7. Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
8. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
9. Reliable transportation to support multiple store locations within a 30-minute radius.
10. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
