Job summary

Victra, the largest Verizon Authorized Retailer in the United States, seeks a Senior General Manager to shape guest experience and lead a store team. You will coach the Assistant General Manager, drive sales, and maintain operational excellence while delivering on company vision.

You will mentor staff, manage hiring, training, and performance, and participate in weekly sales leadership calls. This hourly role includes paid training and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment, with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving team and individual sales goals.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak periods.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Own the hiring process for your store: interview, select, and bring in the best talent — treat recruiting as core to this role, not an afterthought squeezed in between shifts
• Support, coach, and mentor sales associates to achieve store goals
• Teach and model the sales process with Every Guest, Every Time
• Provide ongoing sales training and support to help the team exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives
• Attend required manager trainings, roundtables, and group sessions to keep growing as a leader yourself
• Take ownership for store and employee success, including work-related needs
• Ensure employees meet monthly success measurements and complete assigned training on time
• Support proper staffing, scheduling, labor controls, marketing, loss prevention, and other store functions
• Maintain store performance by supporting inventory compliance
• Keep score daily — review store and personal metrics every day rather than waiting for the monthly review
• Reinforce the standard Victra Greet across your store — introduce yourself, get the guest's name, and ask what brings them in — every guest, every time
• Assist with guest escalations and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Stay up to date with sales promotions and ensure guests receive complete solutions for their needs
• Assist in attracting and retaining top-caliber employees
• Build relationships with fellow General Managers and Assistant General Managers across the district to share what\'s working
• Help implement sales tools and initiatives as they roll out
• Create and implement innovative ways to drive traffic to the store and capitalize on the existing customer base
• Participate in special projects and pilots as assigned
• Engage in sales strategy development to showcase products and services throughout the store
• Act as a brand advocate for Victra
• Communicate company objectives and priorities to team members
