Job summary

USA GPC Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Retail Senior Safety Manager to champion safety across our retail stores. You will design, implement, and oversee safety programs to prevent incidents while fostering a proactive safety culture.

Collaborate with store leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. The role requires travel up to 50% and a strong background in occupational safety, with experience leading safety initiatives across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of safety management experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or multi-site role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve safety programs across store sites.
• Analyze data to identify leading and lagging indicators and perform trend analysis.
• Coordinate and manage audits and inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes at store sites.
• Lead safety training sessions for employees, supervisors, and managers.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
