Job summary

USA GPC Genuine Parts Company seeks a Site Security Coordinator to maintain safety, security, and controlled access at a modern distribution center. You will be the on-site security presence, protecting team members, visitors, inventory, equipment, and automated systems in a lean environment.

You will enforce access protocols, monitor alarms, manage badges, and conduct patrols while supporting site leadership and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of security, law enforcement, military, or industrial safety experience preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Enforce site security protocols and escalation procedures; oversee access control and badge management.
• Respond to security incidents; support investigations and prepare incident reports as directed.
• Monitor alarms, verify visitor credentials, and control entry/exit points to ensure safety and compliance.
• Conduct scheduled and random patrols of warehouse, office, and exterior areas; monitor dock and perimeters.
