Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our store-based team. The role involves overseeing repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance of Walmart refrigeration HVAC equipment, leveraging commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, and using various tools to complete tasks.

Ideal candidates have extensive refrigerant handling certification (EPA Type I/II or Universal), a valid driver’s license, and at least 10 years in HVAC maintenance.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal).
• Hold a valid state driver’s license and pass MVR.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand tools, digital tools and power tools.
• Use work order system to manage repair requests and document activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and diagnose issues with HVAC systems.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart policies.
