Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair within our Refrigeration HVAC team at local stores. You will utilize commercial HVAC skills, hand tools, and digital tools to complete jobs and ensure safe, compliant operation.

The role requires deep experience in large-scale rack refrigeration, EPA refrigerant certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Experience with large-scale rack refrigeration.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using HVAC skills and tools.
• Receive repair work orders and document repair activities in the system.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely.
• Follow OSHA and EPA guidelines and Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
