Mapos Architects, DPC seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager for a full-time role to lead design-forward retail projects and oversee hospitality, residential, and master planning tasks. Overview

Mapos Architects, DPC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for full-time employment to manage a design-forward retail client with many new and renovated store locations. Beyond this retail client account, our current and potential projects include hospitality/hotels, private residential, medium-scale mixed-use developments, and master planning. We currently work remotely, though want applicants in the greater New York City for in-person meetings and site visits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design-forward professional experience in retail
• Can work at home/remotely
• Located in the greater NYC area for in-person meetings and site visits
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Experience in running retail projects from Feasibility and Concept Phases, to store planning, fixture design and construction documentation, through Construction/Fabrication Administration and Final Punch List
• The ability to efficiently produce your own work and responsibly oversee the work of others
• Approach to all design and research projects, large or small, with creativity, curiosity, precision, and a sense of mission
• Passion and ability to design and effectively present their work
• Experience leading and delegating to teams on multiple projects
• Experience in managing professional sub-consultants across various disciplines
• Knowledge of standard project phasing, milestones, and deliverables
• Proficiency in hand-sketching, Revit, Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
• Client-facing
