Job summary

Perry Ellis International is seeking a Senior Business Planner to drive end-to-end financial planning and performance for a major account. You will partner with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Buying and Planning teams to forecast retailer sales, margin, and inventory plans.

You will lead pre-season planning for replenishment and assortment, own weekly account analyses, and present insights to senior leadership while mentoring junior planners in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in retail merchandise planning or financial planning.
• Advanced proficiency in retail math, OTB management, financial modeling, and Excel.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and present strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to influence cross-functional decisions.
• Self-starter with ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive financial plans including sales, margin, inventory, and gross-to-net.
• Lead pre-season replenishment planning and assortment building at brand level.
• Serve as primary planning expert for the assigned account and collaborate with internal partners.
• Analyze weekly selling reports to identify trends and optimize pricing and OTB.
• Present insights to senior leadership and mentor junior planners.
• Own inventory reconciliation and Weeks of Supply management.
