Job summary

Perry Ellis International is seeking a Sr. Business Planner to own end-to-end financial planning for a major retail account. This role partners with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Buying to forecast sales, margins, and inventory.

Lead pre-season planning and analyze weekly selling data to drive pricing and inventory actions, while mentoring junior planners and collaborating across functions to maximize profitability and brand growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in retail planning or financial planning.
• Advanced proficiency in retail math, OTB management, and Excel.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and present strategic recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, present, and align on comprehensive financial plans (sales, margin, inventory, gross-to-net).
• Lead pre-season planning for replenishment and assortment with merchandising and sales.
• Own weekly selling reports, identify trends, and recommend pricing and inventory actions.
• Mentor junior planners and drive cross-functional collaboration with demand planning and sales.
