Verizon seeks a Store Manager in Grand Rapids, MI to lead a high-performing retail team, drive sales, and align store operations with the company vision. You will hire, mentor, and train staff while optimizing customer experience in a fast-paced setting.

You will manage budgeting, forecasting and reporting, collaborating with senior leadership to deliver results and implement strategic initiatives that elevate performance and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or training.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Management experience in a commission-based sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Building, developing and mentoring your sales team.
• Provide hiring, performance management and ongoing sales training for your team to exceed objectives.
• Engaging in sales strategy development to showcase products and services.
• Developing and implementing sales tools and initiatives.
• Maintaining store operations by running retail inventory compliance.
• Engaging in budgeting, forecasting, analyzing and providing sales reports.
• Provide solutions of diverse scope considering current business trends.
• Regularly interacts with senior management on matters across functions and customers.
